The Dog Control Officer enforces local and regional laws concerning the licensing, care, and treatment of dogs and may capture and impound dangerous or stray animals. The Dog Control Officer works directly with residents concerning dog control issues, write incident reports, issue citations as necessary and provide expert testimony in court cases.
